Additives for Coatings

“Innovation in Formulation”

Holiday Inn Conference Centre
Frankfurt, Germany, 20 – 21 May, 2008

Contents

Scope of the Conference

The two day conference covers a range of important new developments in additives used in the formulation of paints and coatings, including wetting and dispersing agents, rheology modifiers and mineral additives designed to enhance dry paint film performance. These additives have been developed to provide paint formulators with options for product differentiation, while complying with the latest health, safety and environmental legislation.

Purpose of the Conference

The main purpose of the conference is to facilitate innovation in paint formulation, by bringing together the participants in the supply chain of additives for coatings applications, for an in-depth exchange of knowledge and ideas.

For suppliers it is an opportunity to present new information to their customer base, develop new contacts and hear about the future market needs.

For coating manufacturers, it is an opportunity to enhance their formulating expertise through a better understanding of the function, chemistry and possible interaction of the different formulation ingredients.
