We provide two-day, introductory level training courses in: Business Improvement Techniques, Warehousing and Distribution, Lean Office and Project Management that are designed to give individuals an understanding of the subject area and an overview of the tools and techniques that can be used.
The unique thing we are then able to do is work with our clients to create tailored, in-company productivity improvement programmes which not only deliver productivity improvement for the company but also create sufficient evidence for the participating individuals to allow them to gain an NVQ level 2 or 3 qualification.
Blending the improvement project with a qualification outcome means that typically 90% of the our costs are covered by funding from the Learning and Skills Councils Train to Gain programme. Not bad, especially when you consider the average project delivers £90,000 of productivity improvement.
The intensive, project-based approach we use also transforms the level of ownership and buy-in from the production staff. By creating cross-functional project teams we ensure barriers are broken down and the organisation rapidly develops a lean culture that continues to drive improvement and competitiveness.
