The unique thing we are then able to do is work with our clients to create tailored, in-company productivity improvement programmes which not only deliver productivity improvement for the company but also create sufficient evidence for the participating individuals to allow them to gain an NVQ level 2 or 3 qualification.
Blending the improvement project with a qualification outcome means that typically 90% of the our costs are covered by funding from the Learning and Skills Councils Train to Gain programme. Not bad, especially when you consider the average project delivers £90,000 of productivity improvement.
The intensive, project-based approach we use also transforms the level of ownership and buy-in from the production staff. By creating cross-functional project teams we ensure barriers are broken down and the organisation rapidly develops a lean culture that continues to drive improvement and competitiveness.
