PRA have a team of experts based at the Coatings Technology Centre available to work on Research projects, in addition PRA also have access to a wider network of industrial and academic researchers.

PRA is particularly well placed to undertake investigations where the results have a bearing on the development of new test methods and standards. Such projects naturally require the drawing together of expertise from several different companies and organisations. While these activities may have very practical implications, all the studies are underpinned by a desire to enhance scientific understanding.

Where it is beneficial to effective progress, PRA can set up and manage multi-discipline project teams consisting of a number of industrial partners in conjunction with other RTOs, or with appropriate universities.

Facilities and Equipment

At the Coatings Technology Centre, PRA have modern facilities that have been equipped specifically for the Research and Development of paints and coatings, printing inks, adhesives and sealants. In addition to these facilities PRA have access to numerous partner Research and Technology Organisations as well as links into industrial and academic research laboratories.
