Viscosity Oils
PRA has been supplying calibrated viscosity oils to industry for over 50 years.
- Each oil comes with a calibration certificate giving viscosity measurements at 20, 23 and 25°C.
- Calculated viscosities at temperatures at 0.5°C intervals between 20 and 25°C and a calibration graph are included on the certificate.
- The oil is produced in a laboratory accredited to ISO 17025 and ISO Guide 34 using primary laboratory test equipment giving improved levels of uncertainty.
- The standard calibration certificate does not routinely carry the UKAS logo. A calibration certificate carrying the UKAS logo is available for an extra charge for those customers that require it.

500ml Oil Packs
Ideal for calibrating equipment or flow cups at any temperature between 20 and 25°C.The certificate supplied with each oil can include the flow time of the oil through a specified flow cup at temperatures from 20 to 25°C in 0.5°C steps.
Calibration Kits
Boxed sets of any five oils from our range of calibrated U grade viscosity oils supplied in 30ml containers. Calibration kits are very convenient for those who only need to use a few drops of oil at a time (to calibrate a cone and plate viscometer, for example).
Viscosity Services
Flowcup Certification
Flow cups should be certified annually in order to ensure their compliance with the appropriate standard. PRA can certify your flow cup whether or not there is a standard available.
