Bubble Viscometers

Bubble Viscometers Bubble Viscometers are precision glass tubes partially filled with oils of standard viscosity. The material to be measured is placed in a matching tube and the rise time of the air bubble after inversion is compared with that of the standard tubes. This gives a simple comparative assessment of viscosity. Please note that bubble viscometers are outside the scope of our UKAS accreditation.

Bubble Viscometer Sets

Each set is 20 viscometer tubes filled with oils chosen by you from our U Grade oils range. If you wish, we can provide sets that are the same as those we sold previously as Standard sets. Four unfilled viscometer tubes are also included together with a certificate and a carrying case.
