This one day workshop analyses major market trends in the coatings industry and identifies major sources of information. Global and national coatings markets will be considered from the perspective of both end-use and technology classification. Factors shaping the industry, including environmental and other legislation, and the prospects for growth in each major sector will be reviewed.

Hands on demonstrations on the use of the internet and Coatings COMET (COmpanies Markets Economic Trends) database will be given.
